Tesla cars hat es geschafft von einer imaginative and prescient, die anfangs von enterprise Capital Gesellschaften als Spinnerei bezeichnet wurde, zu einem Elektroautohersteller zu werden, der einen Marktwert von bereits USD 1,5 Mrd. hat und am Tag des Börsengangs zeitweise quickly doppelt so hoch lag. Der Hype um das Unternehmen an der Börse zeigt, dass der Finanzmarkt auf eine Zukunft ohne Öl setzt und bestätigt gleichzeitig den derzeitigen pattern für Elektroautos.

Die Gründer von Tesla vehicles Martin Eberhard und Marc Tarpenning, die beide die Welt verbessern wollten, haben mit ihrem Produkt, dem Tesla Roadster, eine technische Umweltinnovation geschaffen, die wohl diesen development als Symbolcharakter erst in Gang gesetzt hat. Sie haben erkannt, wieso sich keine replacement zum Verbrennungsmotor durchsetzen konnte.
